Membership
The European Urban Research Association facilitates the transfer of good practice in urban research and policy. If you have an interest in urban research and endorse EURA’s aims we invite you to join the European Urban Research Association.
Our membership already includes scholars and institutions from Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Kosovo, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, Turkey, UK, and USA.

Membership benefits
Members of the Association:
- Receive the EURA Newsletter which comes twice a year providing news and information about research developments and events in Europe;
- Learn about forthcoming research workshops and conferences on urban issues organised by a variety of organisations;
- Obtain a discount on the registration fee when they attend EURA events;
- All members can have their details added to the 'Expertise' page of the EURA website, plus use the 'News' page to give information on new publications, new projects and research results;
- Institutions are featured in the EURA Newsletter and can be linked to the EURA website;
- Institutions can advertise their forthcoming conferences, seminars and workshops, plus post advertisements for academic positions, traineeships or scholarships that would be of interest to our members on the EURA website;
Membership Categories
The European Urban Research Association has five membership categories:
- Institutional members receive six copies of the Newsletter
and can advertise posts in the EURA Newsletter at no charge. Members
of their staff are eligible for reduced rates at EURA events. Free
advertising of conferences and events on the EURA website.
Fee: £165 (€240) per year.
- Institutional members in Eastern Europe receive six copies
of the Newsletter and can advertise posts in the EURA Newsletter at
no charge. Members of their staff are eligible for reduced rates at
EURA events. Free advertising of conferences and events on the EURA
website.
Fee: £110 (€160) per year.
- Individual members receive one copy of the Newsletter and
are eligible for reduced rates at EURA events.
Fee: £27 (€40) per year.
- Research student members receive one copy of the Newsletter
and are eligible for reduced rates at EURA events.
Fee: £16 (€24) per year.
- Colleagues in Eastern Europe receive one copy of the Newsletter
and are eligible for reduced EURA membership fees and reduced rates at EURA events.
Fee: £16 (€24) per year.
