Governing cities: international perspectives

The first International Conference of the EURA was supported by the UK Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and was run in conjunction with the North American Urban Affairs Association. The seminar emphasised comparative analysis and focused on policy evaluation as a learning process. The 17 papers

- Leadership and urban governance;
- City regions in Europe;
- New networks in urban governance;
- Capacity building in cities.
